Idea of a hybrid solution: concept:
- Solar panel efficiency 12 – 20% at 25ºC, it decreases 0.4 – 0.9% per 1ºC, for T = 80ºC approx. 30%
- Water collector panel efficiency 75 – 80%
- Total efficiency of a solar panel 50 – 60%
The idea of a hybrid solution: benefits:
- Double use of space
- Cooling effect of photovoltaic elements < 80 ºC
- Lower total installation cost PLN / W of usable power
The idea of a microchannel solution: benefits:

- Zwiększenie powierzchni kontaktu medium chłodzącego z elementem chłodzonym;
- Integracja systemu chłodzenia z elementem elektronicznym;
- Wzrost współczynnika przejmowania ciepła dzięki zmniejszeniu wymiaru charakterystycznego kanału.
Expected results
- Integration of solar and collector parts & nbsp; – reduction of silicon / liquid thermal resistance, weight reduction
- Introduction of microchannel converters – increased efficiency of heat removal, reduction of liquid outlet temperature, weight reduction
- Difference in inlet and outlet temperatures < 10ºC
- Increase in the efficiency of the photovoltaic part ≈ 30%
- Panel cost ≈ 900 PLN
